This weekend was awesome.
At home...
I got some much needed love mail from my mom. Somehow, whether you're near or far -- your mom always knows when you need a little something extra. Thank, you mom. {I know you stalk my blog}
We also had a mini date night and inhaled a crap-ton of sushi at our favorite local place.
Of all the food comas to experience, sushi-comas are the bomb dot com.
Then, Lily and Sheldon decided to take over my post of neighborhood watch for the weekend, and proceeded to growl and bark at anything that moved outside.
Oy.
I also had a teeny case of insomnia, but I didn't mind.
I watched a few RomComs that Jeremiah would never want to see. #glasshalffull #yesimhashtagginginapost
Then...
The more I get to know these ladies, the more I just love them.
We had a ton of fun, and we talked for hours.
I mean, you can't go wrong with an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet, bottomless mimosas, and enormous bloody mary's (or BMs)...
I carbo-loaded like I was running a marathon. So good.

My BFF booked a ticket to come see me next month!
It will be her very first trip up here, and I am so pumped to see her.

Looks like a SUPER FUN weekend! I am drooling over the Granite City pictures!!! Their brunch is so good!! Fun fact...did you know that BM in 'baby world' means Bowel Movement ;) just learned that and thought I would share since you wrote it!! haha.

Those mimosas look amazing! Stopping in from the linkup, looks like a great weekend! Also, have to comment on your phrase "bomb dot com"...I love using it from time to time, but my husband tends to laugh at me when I say it, so I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes it!
