I am foregoing my usual High Five for Friday post today, since this week was so short.
And also because I'm dying to share more wedding photos!
If you missed Part I {getting ready}, you can view it here.

Our ceremony was a blur.
I can't remember much, other than I cried like a big baby.
My bridesmaids called it...
them: "You're going to lose it. We know you!"
me: "No I wont. Let's get married already!"
Our theme was simple + elegant -- black, white, and yellow were the colors.
My brothers {who are both incredibly talented musically} played in the string quartet.
The entire bridal party + I walked down the aisle to "Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley.
It was breathtaking, and the fact that my brothers were such a huge part of the ceremony made so special.
YaYa {my crazy Cuban grandmother} was walked out with my cousin.
Jeremiah escorted his elegant momma.
And our gorgeous bridesmaids -- and the groomsmen too -- followed.
p.s. Can you tell we're in Florida? Look at all the brunettes!
Then...he saw me.
Then... I lost it.
My Dad was amazing. He kept patting my hand and telling me it was okay.
I am without a doubt a Daddy's girl, so his reassurance made me cry even more.
Then... YaYa yelled at me because I might mess up my makeup.
Which actually made it better, at least for a hot minute.
We were so happy and overwhelmed at seeing our friends and family standing with us.
I tried pull it together, though.
Jeremiah + I are extremely close to our parents.
They have set such a strong example of what a marriage should and can be, so we had them stand to receive a special thank you and tribute...
cue more tears.
I had to lighten it up a bit, so I cracked a teeny joke with our officiant.
Come on, this is me we're talking about.
Then, after all the vows and rings and such... we were married!
And just like that, the happiest moment of our lives {thus far} happened.
There are no words to describe all of the emotions.
It was just... wonderful.

Stay tuned, because there are amazing bridal party and reception shenanigans to come!
I'm talking N'SYNC + Gangham dancin', people.
And more tears.

Congratulations on your wedding!! You look positively radiant. What wonderful photos to capture all the perfect moments.

ReplyDeleteSo sweet! I somehow made it through my own ceremony without crying. The tears hit when we did the receiving line right after and I saw everyone else's tears. I think the ceremony itself was just too surreal. Yet I cry at everyone else's ceremony! haha.
