WW: Welcome Bags

For our wedding, we had a few guests traveling from Minnesota to Orlando
{some even for the first time}

Money was tight, but we put together sweet little welcome bags filled with goodies that we loved.

In them we had:

* bottles of water (because hotels charge a crap-ton for water)
* snacks / granola bars
* skilles (Jeremiah's favorite candy)
* chap stick (another favorite)
* a map of the Orlando / Disney area
* Orlando postcard with a personalized note from us

It's a simple, and inexpensive gesture that's appreciated by all!

What are some other items you did/would include in a wedding welcome bag?

  1. All of my out of towners weren't staying at hotels or anything, they all stayed with friends so I didn't have to make welcome bags (but I had cute ideas if I did) but I think they are a great idea, esp if you're not familiar with the area. Good job!

  2. We did a similar type bag - a map of our city, a typed up list of some of our favorite downtown restaurants, stores, and things to do, some of our favorite snacks and candy, a golf ball since my husband is a golfer, and a coozie. I think everyone can appreciate a little gift - no matter what's inside!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave me some love! They make my face and my heart smile. I respond to most of my comments via email, if at all possible. :)
