Wedding Road Trip: To Florida

I know, I know.
It has taken me a few days to get my shiz together, folks.

I probably shouldn't have jumped right back into work 12 hours after getting home.
Life is so crazy right now.

Our Minnesota reception is this weekend, so there's still a lot to be done.

BUT, I wanted to share a few photos from the trip down to Florida...
(9/23, 9/24, 9/25)

She had a hammock all to herself in the back seat.

Crappy Hotel Coffee

Atlanta at 5:00 a.m.

best.pup.ever.
We packed up everything we needed for the trip down, the wedding, the honeymoon, and the trip back.
5 bags total for the 2 of us, which I think deserves some sort of award.
Or applause, at least.

We couldn't sleep so we left very early Sunday morning and headed to St. Louis, Missouri.

Tip: La Quinta hotels take pets for no extra fee.
And they are usually pretty cheap - about $50 per night.

Tip 2: Audio books are the best for driving.
We got sucked in to a few great ones.  It helps pass the time, for sure.

The second day was the prettiest driving by far - I love driving through Tennessee, Kentucky, and northern Georgia.
Such a beautiful part of the country.
The second night we stayed in Marietta, Georgia (just northwest of Atlanta).

This is when I started feeling sick.  Like, sinus infection sick.
In Minnesota, we have these nifty online clinics so at 3:00 in the morning I logged in, typed in my symptoms, and talked to a nurse practitioner who sent an antibiotic prescription to a pharmacy by my parent's house.
Such a life saver!

We got to my hometown (St. Cloud, Florida) Tuesday afternoon, and the wedding festivities were officially underway.

Stay tuned for more tomorrow.
I swear, mmkay.
