I just love Britt from Bee Littlequeen

Hello Jess is More fans and friends!! I am so happy to be guest posting over here for beautiful Jess while she's gone gettin hitched and on her honeymoon! I wish her the best, love & happiness! Jess has always been a great supporter of me and my blog! I am happy I've met her here in blogland!

So, my name is Brittany and I write over at Bee Littlequeen. I blog about my single life happenings which covers family, faith, friends, makeup tutorials, craft projects, coupon shopping adventures and reviews of media (music, books, movies). I do this all while being barefoot! lol.

I believe in love, helping strangers, snail mail, advocating for animals and taking lots of pictures.

Today, I thought I'd share with you my fave makeup products that I use just about every time I wear makeup--and that's NOT everyday! I like to let my face breath and I am pimple prone (YUCK!) and have {VERY} oily skin, so I don't want to clog my pores any more.

All of these items are $15 or less. I don't like to spend more than $8 for any makeup item but I do splurge once in a while, especially on lipglosses/lipstick OR eyeshadows....Ulta and Sephora get me into Trouble with a capital T!

1. primer.
I LOVE this stuff to help minimize my pores and help reduce shine later after I've applied foundation. I use either of these depending on the day and where I am going. The primer by Rimmel is more of a thin lotion, which to me, doesn't work as well as Smashbox's, because their's is more of a gel formula and it glides on better. (note: i got the smashbox travel size primer as a gift with a purchase from Sephora years ago, so I am not sure how how that cost full size).

2. Tinted Moisturizer.
I use the one by E.L.F in nude. It literally cost $3 and I got it from Target. I know I bought it in the springtime and it has lasted me this long(it is just about empty now and it's mid-september!). I think it lasted me so long because I would put a pea size amount on the back of my hand and mix a bit of olay complete moisturizer to it to thin it even more. Like I mentioned before, I have really oily skin and this mixture works better for me, especially being in HOT arizona! This tinted moisturizer gives me just enough color while it evens out my face and doesn't feel cakey!

3. Next is concealer!
Oh my, i love this stuff. I can't believe i had never used concealer until a year ago! I've tried so many--okay, like 4 different ones, all on the lower end of price. However, my current favorite one is Victoria's Secret VS Pro Camouflage Universal concealer palette. This is the most expensive concealer I've ever purchased (at $15), but i like it alot! It has 3 different shades of concealer that you can mix and match and layer, depending on where you are applying it. I am pretty fair but with olive undertones and I seriously thought the darkest shade would be too dark for me, but NOT THE CASE when you dab your finger lightly in it while mixing it with one of the other 2 lighter shades. I have found that concealer really does help even out my skintone, especially around the outer corner and bottom of my eyes as well as "hiding" acne scars.

4. Lipgloss.
My lipgloss is poppin'! hahaha
So I really have two fave lipglosses, one being by MAC in Cultured, that I don't have a photo of,  and this "lipglaze" by Stila in grapetini. I believe Stila's lipglosses around $9-12, but this one was a gift. As you can see, it looks more pastel pink in the tube, but when I apply it, it has more of a slight purple tint to it. I love it because it's not sticky as compared to E.L.F's similar lipgloss (in same kind of tube) that was $1.

there you have it beauties! What are your favorite, "daily" makeup items?  And seriously, I am open to suggestions on what products or beauty routine you use, if you have oily skin. Email me, tweet or stop by my blog home sometime! I'd love to meet ya!
