High Five for Friday

Photobucket

Oh my goodness, you guys.
I promise, promise, promise that after our Minnesota wedding reception is over this weekend, I will post again and be a good blogger.

This week was insane.  There are literally not enough hours in the day -- it's been a go to bed at midnight, get up at 3:00 a.m. kind of week.

(1) I made some delicious cookies for our neighborhood block party Monday.
The recipe will be coming soon!

(2) We were up until the wee hours making favor boxes and folding place cards for our reception this Saturday.  Our venue wanted everything by Wednesday.
Seriously?!

(3) I am in charge of this enormous charity drive at work this week and next week.
My co-workers and I collected over 1,300 juice boxes which will be combined with other healthy treats to form snack packs for needy children.

(4) This photo of hubs and I was taken right before our wedding.
We celebrated 7 years of dating this week (even though you can't really count it once you're married, right?)
More in love each day...

(5) Poor Lily drew the short stick this week.
It was her birthday (she's two)!
She got a present, but I forgot to document it and make her a special treat.
To make up for being a bad mama, she went to daycare and played with her friends twice.

My parents are on their way to Minneapolis as I write this.  It's our first time hosting house guests, so we want to make this weekend extra special for them too.
Our second reception is brunch-style, tomorrow.  Then, we are in for a fun-filled weekend of family time!
I promise to share pictures and more tales soon!
