{Wedding Wednesday} Minnesota Bridal Shower

my future mother-in-law and I
A few weeks ago, my wonderfully kind boss hosted a bridal shower at her home for my Minnesota friends and Jeremiah's family.

I hired a semi-professional photographer, and I absolutely loved the way the photos turned out.  She got great candid shots of everyone interacting, and of all the little details.

We played a few games: Everyone got a sticker on their back of a 'person' or 'event' surrounding a wedding; then, you had to go around the room, asking only 1 question of each person to figure out what you were. Then, once you figured it out, you had to find your 'pair' -- there were two of each item. You then had to introduce your other-half to the group (name, how they know me, occupation, etc.)

This was a great way for everyone to get to know each other.
We also played wedding trivia.
Which I sucked at.

Also, how amazeballz is that cake?!?!
Minnesota peeps: it was purchased here

My boss even used her own wedding china for the occasion.  So special and personal.

I was showered with love, and it was so wonderful to share that special time with a few friends and family.

  5. Yummy, that cake look so delicious! We went and sampled lots of cake there, but ended up going a cheap route since we were having a reception here and in Florida. Your pictures turned out amazing!
