A Friday for the Books
So...
guess what I did today, folks?
I got boudoir photos taken of myself as a wedding gift to Jeremiah.
We're talkin' hair extensions (which were amazeballz),
crazy make-up (above)
{weird face not included}
and super sexay (but completely tasteful) outfits.
I was so incredibly nervous the whole week leading up to today, but it was actually a LOT of fun.
The ladies made me feel comfortable, and understood that I wanted to keep it classy.
I highly recommend it - even if you just keep the photos for yourself!
It really beat out my at-home pedi by a landslide...
I can't wait to give him his gift.
Because let's face it -
it's way better than a watch.
OH and thank you, Andrea for giving me the idea!
How was your week?
Have you ever gotten photos like that taken?
Was it totes worth it?
Thoughts?

We're hoping to have 500 link-ups! It's not to be missed!
I think this is such an awesome idea! And seeing them yourself will be such a confidence boost, you'll feel like such a fox haha.

Hi there! I LOVE this idea! My husband would adore this kind of gift :-) And I love the premise of your blog...getting as much as you can out of life. That's certainly one of my credos: intentional living. So fun to find a "kindred spirit"! Happy weekending!
ReplyDeleteYAY, you did it!! He's going to LOVE them! My hubs still can't believe I did that for him & loves the pictures! Who did you end up going through?
ReplyDeleteI did boudoir photos for my first anniversary and I loved doing it. As much as it was a give for my husband, it was something for me too. It will be nice to look back down the road and appreciate the confidence (and figure!) that I had when I did them. ~Stephanie
ReplyDeleteI love that idea!!! :) I thought about doing it for our one year, but never got around to it!
ReplyDeleteLove that you did this! I did this for my husband has a wedding present also! He loved it!!!
ReplyDeleteHi from THEE hop. What a fun gift for the hubs! I made my husband a photo book like this a few years ago through Snapfish. Version #1 was lost in the mail. EEk! Thankfully, version 2.0 made it into his hands. Still wondering who has awkward photos of me (thankfully all are clothed)hanging out in their drawers somewhere.
